Documentation
User interface and user experience are very important topics to the CodeWalker team. We want CodeWalker to be something you can rely on to instantly gain some understanding that you are looking for. As such, it's constantly being reevaluated to make it as elegant as possible. If you have any suggestions for how we can improve the user interface, user experience, or make a particular task more straightforward, please let us know!
3D View Navigation
The 3D view is empty until you have added some piece of code, whether it's one folder or an entire project.
Once that has been done, clicking on the ground and dragging the mouse will move the entire area to the new location. Alt+clicking on the ground will result in the viewport rotating when you move the mouse.
Clicking on any file, folder, or node, will result in just that item moving.
You can zoom in and out by pressing the F and G keys. G will move out to see everything. F will focus on the area you most recently clicked on.
You can also zoom in and out using the mouse scroll wheel. Use alt to zoom faster.
You can navigate the entire area using the arrow keys, and alt in this case will rotate the camera around.
That's all there is to it. To select something, click it. To select something else, click that.
At this time you can only select one object at a time.
2D View Navigation
The 2D view is empty until you have added some piece of code, and works only with files.
Clicking and dragging will move the entire viewport around, while clicking on any node will select it.
Once selected, click the top of the cursor to move the node around.
